Grodziec Castle (Lower Silesia)
This medieval fortress is located on a basalt, volcanic hill at 389m.
In 16th century it was one of the most beautiful Silesian Gothic-Renaissance residences.
Burnt to ashes in 1945 the castle is still partly in ruins, but also features a hotel, splendid eatery services, as well as many medieval tournaments featuring jousting and sword fighting.
